About Us

The re-establishment of the Faculty was decided due to the split of the former Faculty of Engineering and Architecture into two units, as the Faculty of Engineering and the Faculty of Architecture, after the meeting of the Council of Ministers on 15.03.2013.

Due to the meeting Council of Higher Education Executive on 22.05.2013, the Faculty of Architecture houses four design branches, as the Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Interior Architecture and Urban-Regional Planning Departments.

The Academy was transformed to the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture as the Departments became part of the Trakya University on 03.12.1982. Academic activities of the Department of Architecture within the Faculty of Architecture proceed since its re-establishment on 15.03.2013. The Department of Architecture houses four branches: Architectural Design, Architectural History, Restoration and Structural Studies.

The Department of Landscape Architecture was founded on 10.02.2010 under the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture and started to offer undergraduate education in the academic year 2011-2012.

The Department of Interior Architecture and the City-Regional Planning Departments have also been established within the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture.
